B11-839 7099 Description: Replacement humidifier pad #81-15 for General Model 81 Drum Type. This is a genuine General product. (7 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" I.D.) 81-15 Evaporator sleeve. Split drum allows easy separation for removal of polyurethane foam sleeve for cleaning.Forced war air heating systems create a pressure differential that diverts some heated air through a bypass duct to the humidifier. There, the warm air absorbs moisture from a water-soaked, drum-mounted evaporator sleeve and then rejoins the primary warm air stream for distribution throughout the living area. The drum-mounted evaporator sleeve picks up moisture as it slowly rotates in a water reservoir. A float valve controls the level of water in the reservoir.   Features Need furnace filters or humidifier water pads.
